US ITC to Investigate Qualcomm claims of Patents right violation by Apple

The United States International Trade Commission, ITC says it will investigates Apple involvement in the violation of Qualcomm patient right. The lawsuit begins when Apple sued Qualcomm, January this year, over
high cost of royalties fees. However, in April, Qualcomm counter sue Apple over alleged violation of it's Patients right.
Qualcomm claims that Apple uses six of it's product in the ways it's uses Intel chips, especially in the Apple iPhone 7. Whereas, Apple is known to use mostly Intel chips. According to to Forbes, Qualcomm is pleased with US ITC interest in investigating the case.

Qualcomm general counsel, Don Rosenberg said in a statement. “We look forward to the ITC’s expeditious investigation of Apple’s ongoing infringement of our intellectual property and the accelerated relief that the Commission can provide.”

If Qualcomm wins the lawsuits, iPhone and other smartphone prices will be more expensive and Qualcomm will increase it's monopoly power. If you do notice, Smartphones and tablets that uses Qualcomm system-on-chips are more expensive than those ones with other chips companies. Therefore, if ITC gives exclusion order to Qualcomm, it will definitely increase prices of handset above it's current prices. Qualcomm will use it's monopoly power to control output, so that, prices of Smartphones will increase.
