Startups can Apply for the Next Google for Africa LaunchedPad Accelerator Program

Startups can now apply for the next LaunchedPad Accelerator Program organised by Google for Africa. The program aimed at training 60 startups entrepreneurs in three years and to provide a total of 3,000,000 Dollars as equity free fund.

The Google for Africa LaunchedPad Accelerator program was announced by Google CEO, Sundai Pichai, last year during his visit to Nigeria. In summary, the program will provide: equity-free support, access to Google engineer and mentorship from 20+ teams, access to Silicon Valley experts and top local mentors, PR training and global media opportunities and partnership with Google for three months.

Every year, the program, which will be held in Nigeria, will be organized twice in that year. For now, only eighteen countries are allowed to apply for the program. Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Côte D'ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
