PiggyBank.NG and Fibre Lifestyle qualified for Series A Funding by VC4A Venture Showcase 2018


PiggyBank.NG and Fibre Lifestyle Inc. both Nigeria tech startups qualified for Series A fundings from Venture Capital for Africa (VC4A) venture showcase on its Africa Early Stage Investor Summit 2018, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa on November 11 and 12. These companies are among the eight companies in Africa who qualified for this showcase.



The event will give the eight companies the opportunity to represent efficiently and effectively their businesses in the presence of investors who are ready to invest up to $250,000 to $5 million seed capital on these tech companies.

In 2017, the qualified Africa companies was privileged to have Series A investment of over $12 millions. This year will be nothing less, just to say. The other six companies are AgroCenta of Ghana, Gebeya Inc of Ethiopia, GoMetro and Invoiceworx of South Africa; and Nawah-Scientific and Shezlong from Egypt.

The event is a product of VC4A and African Business Angel Network (ABAN). 1,000 submissions was received from various investors intermediaries in Africa and of which eight qualified for the showdown next month. PiggyBank and Fibre Lifestyle may be coming home with a good sum of investment at the end of the event.
